Responsibilities Include:

- Movers will be offered moving assignments daily or according to their availability via text/email, that you will have the option to accept or decline with no penalties.

- Movers will drive their personal vehicles to each assigned location that they accept (House, Apartment, Storage, Condo, etc)

- Customers will have their own moving vehicles - so movers will only Load and/or Unload those moving vehicles upon arrival to each location they've accepted. Some customers only want to Load their vehicle if they are moving out of the state. Some customers only want to Unload their vehicle if they are moving in from out of state. Customers moving locally, may book Load & Unload services to which the mover will load their vehicle at one location and then drive themselves to the unload location and unload that customers belongings into the new location.

- Maintain a respectful and personable attitude towards both customers, co-workers, and management.

- Work well in a team environment.

- At the destination, if a packing service is requested Movers will help prepare and pack customers’ items to prevent damage during transit. Their tasks include taking apart furniture, wrapping items in bubble wrap or stretch wrap, putting loose items in boxes and sealed bags, and using straps and cardboard sheets on large items. (ASSEMBLING OR DISMANTLING FURNITURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BOOKED PACKING SERVICES)

- Movers use equipment like dollies and ramps to load customers’ items from their buildings to the moving truck. They arrange items in the truck to fit the load and prevent objects from falling or getting damaged. At the destination, movers will take the items off the truck and place them in the location the customer requests.

- Ability to lift items and boxes up to about 50 pounds

Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service skills

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Strong communication skills

Confident, resourceful, and a critical thinker

An avid team player

Have a coachable mentality that welcomes and applies constructive criticism

Prior moving experience is required!

Education:

Being fluent in English is a plus but not mandatory.

Starting pay $25.00/hr plus tips (minimum 2hrs)
